The Mercure hotel is located in the center of Ostend. Here you will find many restaurants, bars and shops. Be sure to visit the iconic highlights of Ostend: Mu.ZEE, the Mercator ship, St. Peter and Paul's Church and Fort Napoleon. De oorspronkelijke twee woonhuizen op deze plek werden in de 19de eeuw samengevoegd tot één groot pand. Het huidige complex dateert van 1902 en herbergde het 'Institut Communal de Demoiselles'.
