The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. Built in 1929 as a grand summerhouse for General Timmerman by architect Vaerwyck, inspired by the famous English architect Lutyens.

Het Zonnehuis has been completely restored and redecorated by Bertrand Depry and Jan Vermast.

The house is now an exclusive Bed & Breakfast and regained its former grandeur. Het Zonnehuis has 4 luxury rooms, a Junior suite and a holiday house for 4 persons.

The large breakfast has also a British touch: English marmalades, English cheese, smoked salmon, eggs are made à la minute, Brussels waffles, fresh juice, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad.
