Gastenverblijf De Arend is located in the historic centre of Nieuwpoort-city at 300 m from the tram/bus-stop. Three spacious comfortable rooms located on the first floor and three comfortable rooms located on the second floor accessible by stairs. The beautiful garden offers the possibility to relax during the beautiful days. On the ground floor you can enjoy in our ice cream shop artisan ice creams, pancakes and waffles. In the Hall there is a bicycle shed with loading point. Free parking is available in the streets behind our guesthouse. At walking distance you will find a wide selection of cosy restaurants. Situated in the very heart of the “Bel Epoque” District of Ostend, our city by the sea, the “Villa Les Pâquerettes” lies in walking distance of the beach of course, but equally on merely a few hundred yards away from the Wellington racetrack, the Casino, the golf course, the swimming pool, the library, the KVO Versluys soccer stadium and the BCO basketball stadium. The “Bel Epoque” district was realized under the reign of our King Leopold II. Our residence was built in 1902 but has been recently totally and utterly renovated. The surrounding public domain has been restored to his former splendor in respect with the spirit and the style of the “fin de siècle”.
