With a first mention in 1398 and a façade from 1769, Hotel Damier is one of the oldest in Europe and the oldest in Belgium. Centrally located on the historic market square of Kortrijk, you are staying at the heart of this city.

Hotel Damier has 65 unique rooms equipped with a separate bathroom with bath and/or shower, a desk, free water, flatscreen tv and laptopsafe. Het Zonnehuis has been completely restored and redecorated by Bertrand Depry and Jan Vermast.

The house is now an exclusive Bed & Breakfast and regained its former grandeur. Het Zonnehuis has 4 luxury rooms, a Junior suite and a holiday house for 4 persons.

The large breakfast has also a British touch: English marmalades, English cheese, smoked salmon, eggs are made à la minute, Brussels waffles, fresh juice, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad. Bread is coming from the bakery in the village. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 11 a.m. at the big table, the small table or at the heated terrace.
