The story of Hotel Du Parc is infused with the presence of inspiring writers and notable guests, including Albert Einstein, James Ensor and the legendary musician Arno. Their presence has imbued the rooms with a unique ambiance.

Today, after a thorough restoration in 2023, Hotel Du Parc shines with renewed splendour. It carefully preserves the beautiful Art Deco elements and welcomes a new pioneer: Shannah Zeebroek, our passionate sommelier and hostess. Her passion for quality, creativity and hospitality forms the heart of the renewed experience.

With a first mention in 1398 and a façade from 1769, Hotel Damier is one of the oldest in Europe and the oldest in Belgium. Centrally located on the historic market square of Kortrijk, you are staying at the heart of this city.

Hotel Damier has 65 unique rooms equipped with a separate bathroom with bath and/or shower, a desk, free water, flatscreen tv and laptopsafe. Free wifi is available in the whole hotel. Hotel Damier has its own private parking (for a fee, € 15 per day per car), located in the Jan Persijnstraat. You can go directly to the parking lot without first checking in.

In our unique Brasserie Damier customers can enjoy both lunch and dinner, our variety of whikey's, aperitifs or coffees. Besides that they also can taste delecious dishes, for lunch and dinner.

If you are looking for a more sophisticated meal for dinner, we are proud to present you our Restaurant Damier. Guests can enjoy à la carte dish. Our restaurant is open from Tuesday until Saturday, for both lunch and dinner. Adjoining there is a heated terrace.
