With a first mention in 1398 and a façade from 1769, Hotel Damier is one of the oldest in Europe and the oldest in Belgium. Centrally located on the historic market square of Kortrijk, you are staying at the heart of this city.

Hotel Damier has 65 unique rooms and 1 apartment deluxe equipped with bath and/or shower, a desk, flatscreen tv and laptopsafe. Free wifi is available. Hotel Damier has its own private parking (for a fee, € 15 per day per car), located in the Jan Persijnstraat. In our unique Brasserie Damier customers can enjoy both lunch and dinner, our variety of whikey's, aperitifs or coffees. Besides that they also can taste delecious dishes, for lunch and dinner. Kitchen closed on Sunday and Mondaynoon.

If you are looking for a more sophisticated meal for dinner, we are proud to present you our Restaurant Damier. Guests can enjoy à la carte dish. Our restaurant is open from Monday evening until Saturday evening, for both lunch and dinner. Adjoining there is a heated terrace.

Hotel Malecot is a 3-star hotel, offering rooms with seaview and is situated in a unique location between the casino, beach and in the city centre. The Ahoi is a unique, small-scale, very affordable boat hotel with bistro and bar on the river Leie in the center of Kortrijk. Bistro Bar Bootel Ahoi is located approx. 500 m from the Grote Markt and the Broel Towers, approx. 1 km from the train station and approx. 3 km from the trade fair Kortrijk Expo. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Leie from inside the rooms or from the bistro bar and in good weather from our deck terrace or our terrace in front of the boat. Parking is free on Sundays, public holidays and between 7:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Parking costs max. € 4 per day during the day along the Leie.

Bootel Ahoi

has 9 rooms, each with its own shower and toilet and mobile air conditioning, directly overlooking the water (see our "virtual tour" above the room description). Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Monday - Saturday). Attention: 3rd Saturday of the month: check-in before 4:00 PM!

Breakfast

can only be booked on site upon arrival before 22:00. Non-hotel guests can book via info@ahoi.be. Minimum amount of breakfasts: 4. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 (Tuesday - Saturday) & on Sunday from 10:00 - 12:00. There is a choice of 3 formulas: Quick Ahoi: € 7 (a cup of coffee or tea, 1 croissant, 10 cm baguette, butter, jam or nutella, water) or Ahoi Deluxe: € 15 (an egg prepared to your liking, bacon, cheese , ham, Norwegian smoked salmon, glass filled with organic yogurt and granola and fresh fruit, 25 cm baguette, mini croissant, mini chocolate roll, mini swiss roll, slice of multigrain bread, butter, nutella, jam, a hot drink, orange juice, homemade cake) or Ahoi Take Away: € 7 (for those who cannot have breakfast during opening hours or with less than 4 breakfasts, a take-away package is made: 1 cup of coffee or a milk drink, multigrain ham and cheese sandwich, piece of cake ).

Bistro

specializes in mussels and beef preparations. View the menu via the golden “book your table” button – on your top right or via online menu. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed every 3rd consecutive Saturday and Sunday of the month & on Sundays from October through May.

Bar

serves + 30 Belgian beers, including draft lager, Paix Dieu, Brugse Zot and St. Bernardus, selected wines, top cocktails and a nice range of mocktails. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed on Sundays from October through May.

Rental Ahoi

Kortrijk

is not only the city of the Battle of the Golden Spurs and Museum Kortrijk 1302, but also of: the Broel Towers, the Grote Markt with the belfry and town hall, the Begijnhof, the Museum Texture, shopping center “K in Kortrijk” and the surrounding pedestrian shopping streets, the Buda island and the (lowered) banks of the Leie. From Kortrijk you are in Roeselaere in barely 20 minutes with the new Museum KOERS or in Ypres where you will experience a goose bumps moment every evening at 20:00 during the daily Last Post performance under the Menin Gate. Or visit about 45 minutes driving away: the UNESCO and chocolate city of Bruges, Ghent - Europe's best kept secret according to Lonely Planet -, the oldest city in Belgium Tournai, Oudenaarde and the mythical hills of the Tour of Flanders and the “Ronde van Vlaanderen” museum, or the city of Lille just across the border in France. Kortrijk is also the ideal base for cycling trips along the Leie and in the Leie region.
