FIELDS OF ELLIS consists of 6 holiday homes type ESCAPE INTO NATURE with a Scandinavian construction where comfort and versatile minimalism are central. Enjoy the holiday in a unique, trendy and fully furnished holiday home by the sea. This can be from 2 to 4 people.

A central yet quiet location in Middelkerke, on the Belgian coast, within walking distance of the beach, sea, promenade and shopping center. The focus is not only on tight and warm but also on contact with nature. Both the outside and the inside are completely made of wood and finished down to the smallest details. In the design and the interior, only quality and 'unique' were also considered.

If you prefer being together, then our holiday homes type ESCAPE WITH TWO are recommended. Functional comfort in a unique design cottage of 32m² which is also centrally located. These new holiday homes will be provided from April 2019

Always included in the price is the made beds, stock of towels, consumption of electricity / water and the final cleaning.

The charming ** Hotel Westendia lies in a residential area at five minutes walking distance from the centre Westende Middelkerke and from the sea-side. It has 15 quiet and comfortable rooms with bath- shower, toilet and color television. and in the morning we serve a lovely breakfast. Hotel Westendia stands for hospitality and a warm welcome!

The Ahoi is a unique, small-scale, very affordable boat hotel with bistro and bar on the river Leie in the center of Kortrijk. Bistro Bar Bootel Ahoi is located approx. 500 m from the Grote Markt and the Broel Towers, approx. 1 km from the train station and approx. 3 km from the trade fair Kortrijk Expo. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Leie from inside the rooms or from the bistro bar and in good weather from our deck terrace or our terrace in front of the boat. Parking is free on Sundays, public holidays and between 7:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Parking costs max. € 4 per day during the day along the Leie.

Bootel Ahoi

has 9 rooms, each with its own shower and toilet and mobile air conditioning, directly overlooking the water (see our "virtual tour" above the room description). Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Monday - Saturday). Attention: 3rd Saturday of the month: check-in before 4:00 PM!

Breakfast

can only be booked on site upon arrival before 22:00. Non-hotel guests can book via info@ahoi.be. Minimum amount of breakfasts: 4. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 (Tuesday - Saturday) & on Sunday from 10:00 - 12:00. There is a choice of 3 formulas: Quick Ahoi: € 7 (a cup of coffee or tea, 1 croissant, 10 cm baguette, butter, jam or nutella, water) or Ahoi Deluxe: € 15 (an egg prepared to your liking, bacon, cheese , ham, Norwegian smoked salmon, glass filled with organic yogurt and granola and fresh fruit, 25 cm baguette, mini croissant, mini chocolate roll, mini swiss roll, slice of multigrain bread, butter, nutella, jam, a hot drink, orange juice, homemade cake) or Ahoi Take Away: € 7 (for those who cannot have breakfast during opening hours or with less than 4 breakfasts, a take-away package is made: 1 cup of coffee or a milk drink, multigrain ham and cheese sandwich, piece of cake ).

Bistro

specializes in mussels and beef preparations. View the menu via the golden “book your table” button – on your top right or via online menu. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed every 3rd consecutive Saturday and Sunday of the month & on Sundays from October through May.

Bar

serves + 30 Belgian beers, including draft lager, Paix Dieu, Brugse Zot and St. Bernardus, selected wines, top cocktails and a nice range of mocktails. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed on Sundays from October through May.

Rental Ahoi

offers 4 Segway e-scooters and 1 Bayliner motor boat “Red Ahoi” during the summer months. More info and reservations can be made via the black “book your boat or e-scooter here” button - further down this page.

Kortrijk

is not only the city of the Battle of the Golden Spurs and Museum Kortrijk 1302, but also of: the Broel Towers, the Grote Markt with the belfry and town hall, the Begijnhof, the Museum Texture, shopping center “K in Kortrijk” and the surrounding pedestrian shopping streets, the Buda island and the (lowered) banks of the Leie. From Kortrijk you are in Roeselaere in barely 20 minutes with the new Museum KOERS or in Ypres where you will experience a goose bumps moment every evening at 20:00 during the daily Last Post performance under the Menin Gate. Or visit about 45 minutes driving away: the UNESCO and chocolate city of Bruges, Ghent - Europe's best kept secret according to Lonely Planet -, the oldest city in Belgium Tournai, Oudenaarde and the mythical hills of the Tour of Flanders and the “Ronde van Vlaanderen” museum, or the city of Lille just across the border in France. Kortrijk is also the ideal base for cycling trips along the Leie and in the Leie region.
