B&B 't Zonnehuys is located in the heart of West-Flanders. The guest rooms are part of a large stylish house on the countryside. In less than one hour you can easily reach all nice places in our province, including the seaside. There are numerous cycling, walking car and mountainbikeroutes. Our homelike athmosphere, touristic information, nature and culture will guarantee a successful stay. 

Built in 1929 as a grand summerhouse for General Timmerman by architect Vaerwyck, inspired by the famous English architect Lutyens.

Het Zonnehuis has been completely restored and redecorated by Bertrand Depry and Jan Vermast.

The house is now an exclusive Bed & Breakfast and regained its former grandeur. Het Zonnehuis has 4 luxury rooms, a Junior suite and a holiday house for 4 persons.

The large breakfast has also a British touch: English marmalades, English cheese, smoked salmon, eggs are made à la minute, Brussels waffles, fresh juice, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad. Bread is coming from the bakery in the village. Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 11 a.m. at the big table, the small table or at the heated terrace.

In the countryside and in an oasis of greenery, you find the hotel « Kasteelhof 't Hooghe » situated 3 km of the centre of Ypres. Away from the noisy town-life, it is an ideal place to make some excursions in order to visit the region. The three stars hotel with its 11 rooms in the same style as the building but equipped with the up-to-date modern comfort of the 21ste century. Indeed every room has toilet, bathroom, television, telephone, radio-awakening, hair-dryer and some with airco. The rooms of the first floor have their own terrace. Every room has a view on the garden with pond. The hotel has a cordial restaurant, with a varied kitchen and a bar that allows you to rest while tasting the Belgian beers. It is pleasant to stay late in the evening at the lounge by the hearth. There is also a parking lot reserved for the hosts of the hotel. The hotel is situated on a domain that breathes history, situated on the former front line dating of World War I. Typical proofs of it are the trenches, the concrete bunkers and several craters of mines.

Featuring its own cosy restaurant, this small and friendly establishment is ideally situated just 30 metres from the beach of Koksijde, making it an ideal place for a beach holiday. Hotel Lehouck offers a selection of pleasant and comfortable rooms, each of which are equipped with a television and a bathroom with a shower. Other than the beach, you could go on a shopping trip in the town or visit the Plopsaland theme park. The tram which passes all the coastal cities can be taken right in front of this family-friendly hotel. A cinema and bowling alley are within walking distance of the hotel, while you can park your car in the private parking area (fee required). It is also possible to stay on a half board or full board basis.

The Ahoi is a unique, small-scale, very affordable boat hotel with bistro and bar on the river Leie in the center of Kortrijk. Bistro Bar Bootel Ahoi is located approx. 500 m from the Grote Markt and the Broel Towers, approx. 1 km from the train station and approx. 3 km from the trade fair Kortrijk Expo. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Leie from inside the rooms or from the bistro bar and in good weather from our deck terrace or our terrace in front of the boat. Parking is free on Sundays, public holidays and between 7:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Parking costs max. € 4 per day during the day along the Leie.

Bootel Ahoi

has 9 rooms, each with its own shower and toilet and mobile air conditioning, directly overlooking the water (see our "virtual tour" above the room description). Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (Monday - Saturday). Attention: 3rd Saturday of the month: check-in before 4:00 PM!

Breakfast

can only be booked on site upon arrival before 22:00. Non-hotel guests can book via info@ahoi.be. Minimum amount of breakfasts: 4. Breakfast is served from 07:00 - 09:00 (Tuesday - Saturday) & on Sunday from 10:00 - 12:00. There is a choice of 3 formulas: Quick Ahoi: € 7 (a cup of coffee or tea, 1 croissant, 10 cm baguette, butter, jam or nutella, water) or Ahoi Deluxe: € 15 (an egg prepared to your liking, bacon, cheese , ham, Norwegian smoked salmon, glass filled with organic yogurt and granola and fresh fruit, 25 cm baguette, mini croissant, mini chocolate roll, mini swiss roll, slice of multigrain bread, butter, nutella, jam, a hot drink, orange juice, homemade cake) or Ahoi Take Away: € 7 (for those who cannot have breakfast during opening hours or with less than 4 breakfasts, a take-away package is made: 1 cup of coffee or a milk drink, multigrain ham and cheese sandwich, piece of cake ).

Bistro

specializes in mussels and beef preparations. View the menu via the golden “book your table” button – on your top right or via online menu. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed every 3rd consecutive Saturday and Sunday of the month & on Sundays from October through May.

Bar

serves + 30 Belgian beers, including draft lager, Paix Dieu, Brugse Zot and St. Bernardus, selected wines, top cocktails and a nice range of mocktails. Open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Closed on Sundays from October through May.

Kortrijk

is not only the city of the Battle of the Golden Spurs and Museum Kortrijk 1302, but also of: the Broel Towers, the Grote Markt with the belfry and town hall, the Begijnhof, the Museum Texture, shopping center “K in Kortrijk” and the surrounding pedestrian shopping streets, the Buda island and the (lowered) banks of the Leie. From Kortrijk you are in Roeselaere in barely 20 minutes with the new Museum KOERS or in Ypres where you will experience a goose bumps moment every evening at 20:00 during the daily Last Post performance under the Menin Gate.
